We are a group of Christian women with many gifts who are unified by one Spirit. We participate in God’s mission in all areas of life. We are... Centered in relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Focused on ministries with women, children, and youth. Involved in missions locally and globally. Committed to inclusiveness. Pledged to support missions financially through designated giving. Engaged in development and use of skills for service, leadership development, and personal growth. Encouraged To work with other organizations on issues of mutual concern. Any woman who commits herself to the purpose of the UWF is welcome and may belong to a circle.

Three JSUMC United Women in Faith Circle opportunities:
- Myrta Moody Circle: Leader Joyce Clinger. Circle meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at John Stewart UMC in the basement. Meetings begin with a short business meeting, devotions, and a program drawn from UWF resources and topics Book reviews of some of the UWF Reading Program books are given throughout the year. ZOOM participation in the circle meeting is available upon request. Circle members focus their efforts on providing support for a variety of missions to women, children, and youth on the national, state and local level.
- Susannah Hope Circle: Leader Carol Hostetter...Circle meets the second Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the church in Room 103. Meetings begin with fellowship time and refreshments followed by a short business meeting, devotions, and a program drawn from UWF resources and topics. Circle members solicit contributions to the local Christian Food Pantry and provide Valentine's Day outreach to local shut-ins in February.
- Sisters in Faith: Leader Heather Smalley...Circle meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at John Stewart United Methodist Church in the basement. The meeting begins with fellowship time and refreshments followed by prayer, a short business meeting, and Bible-centered program. Circle members provide prayer blankets each year for graduating seniors in the church. For 2022 the circle is collecting buckets of cleaning supplies to be donated to Open Door Resource Center.
